Category 5e U/UTP Cables are manufactured, tested and verified to the ISO/IEC 11801 2nd Edition, EN 50173:2007 and ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2 standards for enhanced performance Category 5e cables. All parameters have been verified by INTERTEK.Each cable consists of 8 colour coded polyethelene insulated conductors. These are twisted together to form 4 pairs with varying lay lengths. These pairs, together with a strong nylon rip cord are jacketed ina heat resistant PVC material. The printing detail on the sheath, includes the cables part number, specification details and a unique 305 metre marking within each box supplied, allowing for quick and easy measurement of cable installed and the amount remaining within the box.CONSTRUCTION AND ELECTRICALCategory5eClassD (100MHz standard) with extended characteristics up to 250 MHz / 1 Gb/sTwisted element4x2x24AWGConductor100% Cu - bare copper wire AWG 24/1InsulationpolyethyleneFire euroclassEcaTwisting4 pairsScreenNoJacketpolyethylene PE resistant to UV radiationPoE802.3 afColorblackELECTRICAL PROPERTIES at 20ºCConductor DC Resistance≤ 95 Ω /kmChanging resistance≤ 2%Insulation resistance (500V)≥ 5000 MΩ *kmMutual Capacitance at 800 Hznom. 48 nF/kmChanging capacitance passive resistance≤ 1500 pF/kmCharacteristic impedance (1-100MHz)(100 ± 15) ΩNominal Velocity of Propagation (NVP)69%Delay spreadNominal ≤ 535 ns/100mAngle spreadNominal ≤ 20 ns/100mTester installation DC, 1 min.1000 VMECHANICAL PROPERTIESBend Radius4 x overall diameterMax. pulling force80 NTemperature range - work-30°C do + 50°CTemperature range - instalation0°C do + 50°COuter diameter5,0 mmWeight / km30 kgPackingbox (305m)
