Description

The WSD-1 signal buzzer is designed for cooperation with SA-K, SA-KN series signaling devices as well as SAOZ-Pk signaling devices, SG-Pgw voice and SGO-Pgz2 voice-optical signals. The purpose of the switch is to turn off the acoustic signal from the above-mentioned sirens, leaving an active optical signal (in the case of acoustic-optical as well as voice-optical sirens). In the case of the SA-K5, SA-K6, SA-K7 sirens, the use of one WSD-1 switch enables switching off only one siren. In the case of the SA-K5N and SA-K7N series sirens, depending on the place of connection of the WSD-1 circuit breaker, one siren can be switched off locally (WSD-1 switch connected to the slave signaling device) or the entire signaling network (WSD-1 switch connected to -master- signaling device). The WSD-1 buzzer is used in fire alarm systems to facilitate the evacuation action.

Construction description:

The switch consists of a plastic housing with a monostable key. The key contains the signaling element in the form of an LED diode. The wires from the siren are connected to the terminals located on the circuit breaker circuit board. The switch is mounted to the wall with two screws. The appearance of an alarm signal in the fire alarm control panel results in the activation of a SA-K, SA-KN series or SG series siren connected to it. The acoustic signal of the siren can be turned off by pressing the WSD-1 switch. This fact is signaled by the pulsing LED. The LED blinks as long as the alarm signal from the fire panel will not disappear as a result of resetting the alarm state of the panel. The re-emerging of the alarm signal from the central unit will cause the respective signaling devices to reactivate.
